White Cross is the March Mission of the Month
Meeting Global Needs with Christ’s Love
For centuries International Ministries has responded to needs worldwide with the Love of Christ by fulfilling requests from global servants and partners. Your gifts to White Cross this month will help supply medical supplies in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
White Cross funds purchase hospital supplies, lin- ens, uniforms and medicines for Baptist hospitals and clinics in the DRC. These funds also pay for the transportation costs to get supplies delivered to mostly remote (bush) hospitals and serve poor and rural patients in a country where healthcare is on a fee for service basis.
IM global servants, Wayne and Katherine Niles, strive to meet the health needs in the DRC. Katherine is the medical coordinator for the network of rural Baptist hospitals staffed entirely by Christian Congolese professionals. She assists them in obtaining quality medicine and needed medical equip- ment. She manages the distribution of much appreciated White Cross supplies. Wayne works with IMA World Health Organization. Together Katherine and Wayne also organize the installation of solar power and computerized management systems.
